One of the major tourism product of Nepal these days has become
the rafting activities. Glacier and the lakes are the major source
of Nepalese rivers. The gushing rivers during its long traverse
hits the rock, passes through the gorge, sometimes takes the shape
of waterfall and advance in serpentine movement until it becomes
calm and quiet after reaching the plain surface of Terai. So, man
wants to share this fun with the river and does so by means of kayaking
or rafting..
Nepal has many rivers to quench such thirst of the adventure lover.
The course varies from 1 day to 2 weeks. But the popular course
at moderate cost is run in Trisuli, Sunkoshi and Seti river. Kaligandaki
course is also quite challenging. Few other distant rivers are Seti,
Karnali in far west Nepal and Arun, Tamor are in the East Nepal.
